Doreen hosts frequent cooking segments on Telemundo and Univisión and hosted 3 cooking shows with FoxLife & Utilísima in Latin America.
Her recent partnerships includes Hass Avocado and the American Heart Association as a spokesperson for their Healthy for Good campaign. She is also a Chef Ambassador and speaker for Novo Nordisk Pharmaceutical, since 2014, Doreen travels the nation inspiring us to live a healthier lifestyle with a powerful campaign to increase awareness about obesity and diabetes.
She designed a healthy meal plan for Univision’s campaign Reto28, to encourage Latinos to live a healthier life. The campaign was supported by the John Hopkins Hospital and the American Heart Association and it achieved more than half a million subscribers in 2 weeks.
Doreen is also extremely passionate about wine. In 2014, Doreen became the first Hispanic Celebrity Chef for Bordeaux Wine Council, the most prestigious wine region in the world. In 2015, worked as a judge and spokesperson for the DO Ribera del Duero 2011 vintage in Spain and in 2016, she was adventurous enough to work her first harvest season at Chateau Biac in Bordeaux, France. Bodegas Monteviejo selected her for two consecutive years as a chef for the prestigious Park Hyatt Mendoza Master of Food and Wine in Argentina.
Her weekly articles feature in more than 10 outlets around the nation and she was a successful Food and Wine Editor for Meredith Publishing for 7 years.
Doreen is certified with Wine & Spirits Education Trust L2 (WSET), Court of Master Sommelier L1, US Sommelier Association L2 and École du Vin in Bordeaux. She has a BBA in Business and Marketing and studied in culinary schools in NY, CA and FL.
She had also work with: National Pork Board, Martin Codax Albariño, Bumble Bee Seafood, Fresh Fruits from Chile, Certified Angus Beef, Bush Beans, Target, General Mills, NAHREP and California Raisins, among others.
A Slow Food USA supporter. Doreen also participates in food and wine programs in Italy, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Greece and Spain, among others.
